Where to manage it in the app
- 1
Open the Semo desktop app.
- 2
Open the connection screen from the sidebar.
- 3
Move to the work tool channels view and find the Google card.
- 4
Use Connect for the first setup, Re-consent if scopes are missing, or Guide if you want the docs first.
Understand the connection model
The visible card summary is shorter than the real scope
Some UI text highlights Gmail, Calendar, and Drive first, but the actual connected scope and backend features also cover Docs, Sheets, and Tasks.
- The Google card connects by account, not as separate service cards.
- Once an account reaches connected, each Google work tool is unlocked based on its required scopes.
- If some required scopes are missing, the card enters consent_incomplete and the primary action changes to Re-consent.
- You can connect multiple accounts and switch the active one from the overflow menu on the Google card.
What to read next
- Open Setup and permissions first if you want the browser approval and account management flow.
- Then move into Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Tasks for service-specific behavior.
