Learn how to prepare and send the connection code so you can talk to Semo directly in KakaoTalk.
Setup guide
Step 1: Prepare the connection code

Open Channels from the sidebar in the Semo desktop app and find the KakaoTalk card.

Choose Connect and let the app prepare the KakaoTalk connection code automatically.

Once the code appears, copy it first with the copy action.
An automatic copy attempt happens first
When a new connection code is prepared, the app tries to copy it to the clipboard automatically. Depending on browser or OS permissions, you may still need to copy it manually.
Step 2: Open the KakaoTalk channel
The Add channel button inside the app is the fastest way to jump into the official KakaoTalk channel during the first setup.

Open KakaoTalk and move to the Friends tab using the people icon.

Use the search button in the top-right corner to find 주식회사 세모랩스.

Open the channel and enter the chat room.
Step 3: Send the connection code

Paste the copied connection code into the KakaoTalk chat exactly as it is.

Send the message to start the connection.

If the code expired or the connection got stuck, go back to the app and use Connect again to prepare a fresh code.
Clear older bindings first when needed
If an older KakaoTalk connection still seems to exist, sending "연결해제" first and then using a fresh code is usually the most reliable recovery path.
Example usage
Start with a simple request
Once the connection is done, you can send requests from KakaoTalk just like you do in the web app.
“Summarize my morning schedule.”
“Recommend a lunch place near Gangnam Station.”
“Pick the top three tasks I should handle today.”
If the connection does not complete
In most cases the issue comes from an expired code or an older binding that was never cleared.
- Generate a new code if the remaining time is too short.
- Send "연결해제" first if an older binding is still active.
- Then paste and send the new code again.

Notes
- KakaoTalk currently supports only one connected account at a time.
- The connection code is one-time use and the modal shows the remaining time.
- When you open the KakaoTalk flow again, the app prepares a fresh code.
- The Add channel button exists to help you enter the official KakaoTalk channel quickly.
Disconnect

If the KakaoTalk card is currently connected, press Disconnect on the card.

When the confirm countdown appears, press it once more within 4 seconds to complete the disconnect.

If an older binding still remains in chat, send "연결해제" in KakaoTalk to clear it.

Then use Connect on the card again to prepare a fresh code and repeat the same setup steps.
