Google Workspace
Tasks
In the current app, Google Tasks supports reading task lists, reading tasks, creating tasks, updating them, and marking them complete.
Currently supported Tasks actions
- List the available task lists.
- Load the tasks inside a selected list.
- Create a new task with title, notes, and due date.
- Update the title, notes, or due date on an existing task.
- Mark a task complete.
Example requests
“Show the default Google Tasks list.”
“Pull only the tasks due this week.”
“Add a task to review the report by Friday.”
“Expand the notes on the task we just created.”
“Mark the finished work complete.”
Google Tasks is different from Semo scheduled tasks
This page is about personal task management
Google Tasks stores and updates task items. It is not the same as Semo's scheduled tasks, which run AI workflows automatically at defined times.
- Google Tasks is a list-based task manager.
- Semo scheduled tasks are time-based automations for the agent.
Current scope and limits
- The documented supported scope today is read, create, update, and complete.
- Delete is intentionally not documented because it is not part of the current supported flow.
- If you want to turn top tasks into scheduled time blocks, combine this flow with Calendar.
